Valley Church of Grand Junction 
Adopts a Family
March 8, 2011
On March 8, 2011, Valley Church of Grand Junction gathered and loaded Furniture, household items and Love to give a Grand Junction single dad of FOUR teenagers.... HOPE.

In the words of Mike Rockert, church representative: 
Along with the items we received from HOPE Unlimited which included: 

love seat, bed, dining room table and six chairs. 

We were able to gather from our congregation:






Toilet paper, paper towels, 8 dinner plates, 8 salad plates, 6 bowls, little food processor set of plastic bowls with lids, laundry soap, pot holders, basket with kitchen stuff in it ( dishwashing soap, scrubber, etc... ), set of silverware, and a lamp.

Hope Unlimted found help from a worker at Catholic Outreach, Robert.  Robert helped unload and move the items into the house, Pastor Geoff even got to minister to him, he might be trying out the church too! 

Pastor Geoff  and all of us from Valley Church absolutely loved it.
